Southern Express Big Band: Southern Express Big Band has been performing in Central Florida for over 15 years. The band is fortunate to have many "seasoned" musicians in its membership. Many have a musical background rooted in military service with almost every branch of service represented. Many members were also music educators; some now retired, others still active teachers. There are also musicians in the band who have played with major symphony orchestras and those who have recording experience in the studios of NYC.
